You can add the 2FA token of your University's student account to the Studo Authenticator. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to import your 2FA tokens from other authenticator apps to the Studo Authenticator.

Google Authenticator

  1. Open your Google Authenticator app, open the side menu (top left) and select "Transfer accounts"

  2. Now click on "Export accounts" and select the accounts you want to export into the Studo Authenticator

  3. After clicking on "Next", a QR code should appear

  4. Take a screenshot of the displayed QR code

  5. Open the Studo app, open the side menu and select "Authenticator"

  6. Click on the plus (bottom right) and select "Read QR code from image"

  7. Select the screenshot of the QR code you just took

  8. You should now see all your new 6-digit codes listed in the Studo Authenticator

LastPass Authenticator

  1. Open your LastPass Authenticator app, open the settings menu (top right) and select "Screenshots"

FreeOTP+ (Two devices are required)

Please note the that the FreeOTP+ app is not the same as the FreeOTP app, which does not offer a way to export QR codes.

  1. Open the FreeOTP+ app and click on the three dot menu of the code you want to export

  2. Click on "Share QR code"

  3. Take a picture of the code with your second device

  4. Open the Studo app on your first device, open the side menu and select "Authenticator"

  5. Click on the plus (bottom right) and select "Scan QR code"

  6. Scan the picture of the QR code on your second device

  7. You should now see a new 6-digit code listed in the Studo Authenticator

Other Apps

Unfortunately, we do not currently offer instructions for other third-party apps, and not all apps allow you to export the codes to another app like Studo Authenticator. If it is not possible to transfer the codes, you will need to generate a new QR code in your university's system and scan it using the Studo app. If you have questions on how to generate the QR code, please contact the IT support of your university.
