Can I use Studo on my Windows PC or laptop?

This is a bot more complicated. If you have already installed Studo on Windows 11, you can still use Studo until March 2025.

Unfortunately, a new installation is no longer possible. While we were able to provide Studo via the Amazon App Store until recently, this option was unfortunately discontinued by Microsoft on March 5, 2024. It is now no longer possible to download the Amazon Store and thus Studo on your Win11 device. According to the Amazon Store, programs that have already been downloaded will work until March 2025 and will then also be discontinued.

Sadly, Studo is not supported on older Windows devices, because it requires specific features provided by Windows 11 that are not available on older versions of Windows.

Can I use Studo on my macOS device?

Yes, if your Apple device has the new Apple silicon chip (M1, M2 or newer). If you bought your MacBook in 2021 or later, you probably already have Apple's M chip. Then you can just download the Studo app in the macOS app store.

Sadly, Studo is not supported on older Apple MacBooks or iMacs, since Apple doesn't plan to release any new devices with the older Intel architecture.

Can I use Studo on my Chromebook?

Yes, just download the Studo app via the Google Play Store on your Chromebook. Google explains here in detail how to install Android apps on your Chromebook.

Can I use Studo on my Linux device?

You can install Studo via the open-source Android container subsystem Waydroid. Waydroid supports Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, Arch Linux and more distributions. If you encounter any errors in Studo regarding Waydroid, feel free to report them for us so we can fix them.

Can I use Studo on a tablet?

Yes, the Studo app can be used on all devices with Android or iOS. Therefore, Studo can be used on almost all tablets.

Please log in to your secondary device in Studo with the same mobile phone number as your Studo account on your smartphone. This will keep the PRO version, your personal appointments and settings synchronised across all devices.

Best regards from the Studo team
